We are currently seeking experienced Offshore Pipefitters to support maintenance, repair, and modification projects on offshore oil and gas production and drilling facilities offshore Newfoundland and Labrador. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled team responsible for executing critical construction, maintenance, and brownfield modification activities in a challenging and rewarding offshore environment.
The successful candidate will possess strong pipefitting and rigging experience, a commitment to safety excellence, and the ability to perform precise work on a variety of piping systems, valves, pressure-containing equipment, and structural installations. Candidates must be comfortable working in an industrial offshore setting and be capable of contributing to both planned maintenance campaigns and project execution scopes.
- Install, modify, repair, and maintain process, utility, and hydraulic piping systems.
- Fabricate, fit-up, and assemble piping components in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Perform piping system maintenance, flange management, valve replacement, and equipment change-outs.
- Execute brownfield modification work on operating production and drilling facilities.
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, piping layouts, and work packages.
- Perform rigging activities associated with lifting, positioning, and installation of piping and mechanical equipment.
- Work safely with cranes, chain falls, come-alongs, and other rigging equipment.
- Participate in isolation, lockout/tagout, and permit-to-work processes.
- Complete work in compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and offshore safety standards.
Support multidisciplinary maintenance and construction teams as required.
- Journeyperson Pipefitter certification (Interprovincial Red Seal).
- Demonstrated experience working in industrial, oil and gas, marine, or offshore environments.
- Proven experience with piping maintenance, installation, and modification projects.
- Strong rigging experience and understanding of safe lifting practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience working around pressure systems, valves, pumps, and process equipment.
- Strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently when required.
- Required safety training will include BST (with HUET), H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, WHMIS, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection and Rigging/Slinging
