We are seeking experienced Offshore Electricians to support maintenance, repair, construction, and modification activities on offshore oil and gas production and drilling facilities operating in Eastern Canada. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment in a challenging offshore environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team on critical projects that support ongoing production, facility upgrades, and asset integrity initiatives.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Support brownfield modification projects, construction activities, and facility upgrades.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical distribution systems, motors, generators, switchgear, transformers, lighting systems, and associated equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and construction work packs.
- Execute work in accordance with approved procedures, permits, and safety standards.
- Assist with commissioning and testing activities associated with new installations and modifications.
- Participate in fault-finding and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.
- Contribute to daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and work execution records.
- Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Industrial or Construction)
- Previous experience working in industrial, heavy commercial, marine, energy, mining, or oil and gas environments.
- Experience with electrical maintenance and construction activities on industrial facilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings, and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safe work practices and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based offshore environment.
- Required safety training will include BST (with HUET), H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, WHMIS, Arc Flash, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection and HAET
