Offshore Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

We are seeking skilled and safety-focused Industrial Mechanics to support operations on offshore oil and gas production and drilling facilities located offshore Eastern Canada. The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and integrity of critical mechanical equipment that supports safe and efficient offshore operations.

Summary

We are seeking skilled and safety-focused Industrial Mechanics to support operations on offshore oil and gas production and drilling facilities located offshore Eastern Canada. The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and integrity of critical mechanical equipment that supports safe and efficient offshore operations.

Working in a challenging and rewarding offshore environment, you will be part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team responsible for ensuring production systems and drilling support equipment remain operational and compliant with industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on rotating and static mechanical equipment.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul pumps, compressors, gearboxes, valves, hydraulic systems, and associated equipment.
  • Maintain offshore utility and process equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.
  • Execute maintenance activities in accordance with work plans, procedures, and permit-to-work requirements.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
  • Participate in equipment inspections, condition monitoring programs, and failure investigations.
  • Support shutdowns, turnarounds, equipment commissioning, and major maintenance campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and other maintenance disciplines.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate or equivalent recognized trade certification.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably within offshore oil and gas, drilling, marine, petrochemical, mining, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, bearings, alignment, rigging, and precision measurement techniques.
  • Offshore medical certification /
    Basic Survival Training (BST) / and Valid Safety Certifications as required
